This multi-functional device is a masterpiece of Terios' tinkering, designed to serve multiple roles based on the situation. Its compact form can expand and change to suit different needs.
- The MUEG has 4 different modes, and the party can choose which mode it will assume. Only one mode can be used once per day:
- Climbing Mode. The device produces grappling hooks and retractable ropes, allowing the entire party to climb any surface without making ability checks.
Additionally, this grants the party advantage on Athletics checks related to climbing or grappling. - Swimming Mode. The device produces swimming equipment, allowing the entire party to swim without making ability checks. Additionally, this grants the party equipment to breathe under water.
- Defense Mode. The device deploys small mobile shields around the party, giving them
+1to all contested checks. - Exploration Mode. The device projects a detailed 3D map of the surrounding area (up to 166 meters). This allows the party to locate hidden paths, traps, and gain advantage on Nature or Investigation checks for tracking, locating secret doors, or traps.
