You cause a target creature to be overwhelmed by psychic energies. The target creature must succeed with a wisdom saving throw or suffer 1d4 psychic damage for every intelligence or wisdom modifier, whichever is highest.
In addition, if the saving throw failed, creatures within 15 feet of the target creature are afflicted by a ripple from this spell, they must succeed with a wisdom saving throw or they suffer the same damage as the target creature.
This spell will not spread further than 30 feet from the initial target creature.
Power Increase
When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd level or higher, the damage is increased by 2d4 and the ripples total range is increased by 10 feet for each slot level above 2nd.
