When you are attacked, you may roll a Hit dice and add the value to your AC.
When you attempt a Reflex save, you may roll a Hit dice and add the value to the save. You gain Advantage on the save (only one Hit dice is used).

When you or a creature within 20 meters suffer Sonic damage, you may roll a Hit dice and remove the value from the damage.
When you make an attack, you may roll a number of Hit dice equal to your level, add the values to your damage as Sonic.
